Raymond M. Radzitowski

July 20, 1928 — February 2, 2012

Raymond M. Radzitowski, age 83, a 9 year resident of Brown City and previously from Florida and Romeo, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at his home. Raymond was born July 20, 1928 in Hamtramck, MI., the son of Vincent and Mary (Hendrykowski) Radzilowski He worked as a Union Sprinkler Pipe fitter for over 30 years in Detroit and Los Angeles and retired in 1995. Upon retiring, he enjoyed his garden and any outdoor activity. Raymond is survived by his children: Tom (Nancy) of Washington Township and their children Ashley & Krystal, Tim of Brown City and his daughter Kathy (Robert) Benkovich and their children Jasmine & Hailey, and Ken of Brown City and his daughter Kristin. Also survived by Todd’s children, Sherrie Radzitowski and Lisa (Craig) Richardson and their daughter Payton. He was also survived by his sister Eleanore Horgan. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife Dolores on February 5, 2005, and sons Todd on March 13, 2002 and his son Terry on January 16, 2011. Also preceded by siblings: Leo & Mitchell Rogers, Chester, Eddie, & Vincent Jr. Radzilowski, Harriet Madejczk, and Mary Wawrzynek. Raymond’s funeral will take place on Monday at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home with Fr. Jerry Kessel officiating. Burial will follow in the Bruce-Armada Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday only from 4-8PM.
