Richard E. Davis

Richard E. Davis, age 67, a 33 year resident of Armada Twp., and formerly from Warren, MI., passed away on Friday, June 13, 2008 at Henry Ford Macomb  Hospital in Clinton Twp.  Richard was born February 4, 1941 in Detroit, the son of William R. and Catherine (Sokola) Davis.  He married Nancy Sladowski on January 15, 1971 at St Anne's Catholic Church in Warren.  Richard worked for 33 years before retiring in 1999 from the TRW plant in Sterling Heights as a tool and die maker.  His hobbies included playing the slot machines and working on his yard.       Richard is survived by his wife Nancy, children:  Eric of Warren & Michele (Eric Hummel) Davis of Imlay City, MI. Also survived by one brother William of Gettysburg, SD.      Funeral services will take place on Monday at noon at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo followed by a 1 PM Mass of Resurrection at St Clement Catholic Church in Romeo with Fr. (John Ortman) Doc officiating.  A rosary will be recited on Sunday night at 7 PM by the Knights of Columbus, Council # 7018 of St Clement of Rome.
