Richard High

Richard High, 92 and life long resident of Romeo, MI passed away April 27, 2018 at his home. Richard was a Navy veteran who served at the Great Lake Naval Station in Lake County, IL. He worked as a carpenter and stone mason and later as a Romeo mail carrier for the Post Office when he retired. He was a member of the Romeo Lions Club. He was also a Golden Gloves amateur boxer in the Navy and became a licensed pilot after completing his naval service.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Francine Doriot High and daughter Sharon Sue Fowler. He is survived by son Michael High (Elaine), Baton Rouge, LA, son Norman High, North Branch, MI, daughter Deborah Alban, Mesa, AZ, son David High (Alena) Romeo MI, daughter Kelley Petack (Larry), Armada, MI, 13 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.   Funeral services are private.
