Richard M. Polakowski

Richard M. Polakowski, 78 passed away on November 23, 2019 at Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital. Richard was born on July 22, 1941 to Zygmunt and Genowefa Polakowski in Parana Brazil. He entered the Army in 1963 serving for 2 years working as a bread maker. On September 9, 1967 Richard married Patricia Ann Koralewski at St. Ladislaus Church in Hamtramck Michigan. He worked for Chrysler in the inspection department for 30 years. Richard enjoyed watching sports, playing football and basketball, fishing and completing crosswords. Richard is survived by his wife Pat, children Lisa Schwarz and Brian (Kelly) all of Clinton Township; grandchildren Jake Schwarz, Carly Schwarz, Chloe Bianchi, Noah Bianchi and Brett Polakowski; and sister Heddy Nowacki. A Funeral Service will be held on December 6, 2019 at 10AM at St Clements Catholic Church in Romeo with luncheon immediately following. Visitation will occur prior to service starting at 9 AM. In lieu of flowers, we will be accepting donations for Ronald McDonald House and St. Jude's Children Hospital.
