Richard P. MacLeod, age 81, a current resident of Attica Twp./Florida and formerly form Romeo, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2007 at McLaren Hospital in Flint. Richard was born June 17, 1926 in Richmond, MI., the son of Henry P. and Katherine M. (Gaffney) MacLeod. He married Donna Moore on June 21, 1947 at St Paul's Episcopal Church in Romeo. He worked for 35 years at Lyons Plumbing & Heating as a sheet metal worker until 1983 when he retired. Richard then worked as a self employed house painter in the area for many years and his hobbies included golfing & travel. He served his Country during WW II in the Navy and was a lifelong member of St Paul's Episcopal Church in Romeo. Richard is survived by his wife Donna, son Steven (Mary Anne) of Warren along with grandchildren Matthew ( fiancéLaura Estill) of Kalamazoo and Nicholas of Washington. Also survived by his sister Katharine Nancy Depauw of Florida. He was preceded in death by his daughter Ellen G. Dombrowski and brothers John & Hugh. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 10 AM at St Paul's Episcopal Church of Romeo with the Rev. Stacy Salles officiating. Donations to St Paul's Episcopal Church would be appreciated. Arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
