Roanld Ralph Redd

Ronald Ralph Redd, age 81, a lifelong resident of Romeo Michigan, passed away at his daughter Carol’s home on March 3, 2018. Ron was born and raised and lived most of his life in the Romeo area. Ron was the last of Nellie and Charles Redd’s nine children to pass on to their heavenly reward. Ron was raised in the Baptist faith. By trade Ron was a tool and die maker. Ron enjoyed life with country music, dancing and had a great sense of humor. Ron was a perfectionist in his hobbies of construction, landscaping, and the restoring of anything with a motor. Often others would seek his advice and skills. Most of all, Ron was a good man, Father and Friend to all who met him. He loved enjoying time with his friends and family, especially his great grand children. Ron is survived by his 3 children: Keith Redd of Newton, North Carolina, Cheryl Zimmermann of Gainsville, Georgia and Carol (Kevin) Douglas of Otter Lake, MI. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Per Ron’s request, there will be no funeral: instead, family and friends will gather in June to celebrate his life at his daughter Carol’s home.
