Robert "Bob" J. Scheuerman

Robert J. Scheuerman, 50, of Washington Township, Michigan passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016. He was the beloved son of Robert & Janet (Lade) Scheuerman. He was born on February 14, 1966, graduated from Naperville North High School in 1984 and received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Tech University. Bob made his career as an engineer with General Motors where he was routinely called on to travel internationally and assist in solving production problems worldwide. He was awarded 22 patents by the U.S. Patent Office. He found his release in water sports and boating. He developed talents that were respected in the arts of furniture construction and refurbishing arcade games. Survivors include his parents, Robert & Janet Scheuerman of Valparaiso, IN., sisters Kristin Scheuerman of Valparaiso, IN, Karin (Vincent DiCecco) of Acworth, GA, nephews: Dominic DiCecco, Anthony (Samantha) DiCecco & Matteo DiCecco and great nieces Maria DiCecco and Reagan Jane DiCecco. He is also survived by his partner, Theresa Uzenski. A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 3-8 PM EST at Henry Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, Michigan. A visitation will be held Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 11 AM to 1 PM CST at Moeller Funeral Home, Valparaiso, IN. with burial to follow at Angelcrest Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Veteran's support organizations, such as SUDS (Soldiers Undertaking Disabled Scuba) or Wounded Warriors.
