Robert “Bobby” A. Heyl, age 41, a 35 year resident of Dryden, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 17, 2016. Bob was born on June 16, 1975, the son of John and Patty (Kemp). Bob served our Country in the United States Army. He loved music, played every instrument, was a hard worker and had a wicked sense of humor! Bob is survived by his mother, Patty Heyl of North Branch, father John of Warren, brother Tim (Amy) of Romeo, Dan of North Branch, his Aunt Kay (Don) Stone, Karen (Mike) Connell and Janet (Marty) Lutz. He is also survived by 15 cousins and 13 second cousins. The following tribute written by Jacqueline Hoffman sums of his life...Everyone always felt a kinship with Bob. He loved music, he wrote music and he FELT music in a way that only someone with his sensitivity could. His awareness for others’ needs was returned with wonderful, random acts of kindness. Always subtle of course, because Bob never did things out of need for praise. He did it because he wanted to make you smile. Bob was relentlessly weird and charming in his gentle way, and everyone loved him for it. Thank you for making this life more interesting Bob and thank you for being genuine in a world that is full of inauthenticity. We will all miss you. Funeral services will take place on Friday October 21, 2016 at 7 PM with Father Jerry Kessel officiating. Visitation will be on Friday October 21, 2016 from 1-8 PM.
