Robert C. Depyper

Robert C. DePyper, age 61, a 18 year resident of St Helen, Michigan and formerly from Imlay City/Shelby Twp., passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at his home in St Helen. Robert was born June 17, 1949 in Warren, MI., the son of Marcel and Clara (DeWielemacker) DePyper. Robert worked various jobs over the years and was still working in maintenance at a campground near St Helen upon his death. He previously worked as a furnace installer in the St Helen area, factory worker, and a mechanic for “Rosy Brothers” equipment company in Dryden, MI. His hobbies included working on cars, riding his motorcycle, and being with his precious Pekingese Dogs. Robert is survived by his mother Clara of Shelby Township, daughter Lisa (Joe) Wood of Silverwood, MI., along with his sister Jean (Arthur) Bingham of Armada Twp. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren along with nieces Christine Bingham and Kathleen (Aaron) Rash. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo, MI. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
