Robert D. Mcfall

Robert D. McFall, age 79, a 55 year resident of Romeo, passed away April 29, 2023 at Michigan Veteran Home in Chesterfield. Robert was born December 5, 1943 in Brant, Michigan, the son of Harold and Evelyn (Whitman) McFall.

Robert graduated from St. Charles High School in 1961. On September 12, 1964, he married Kathryn Graham in Whittemore, Michigan. He was drafted into the Army, and served from 1966-1968. Robert worked at General Motors as an engineer for many years, before retiring in 1995.

Robert enjoyed driving, building race cars, muscle cars, snowmobiles, ice racing, and hiking.

Robert is survived by his wife, Kathryn McFall, daughter Marni (Jacob) Cooke of Richmond, and grandchildren, Dredan McFall of California, Cameron Cooke of Richmond, Conner Cooke of Richmond, and Cory Cooke of Richmond, as well as many nieces and nephews. Robert is predeceased by his brother, Roger McFall.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 10AM at St. Clement Catholic Church in Romeo, with visitation to be held on Wednesday, May 3,2023 from 4PM-8PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.
