Robert E. Old

Robert E. Old, age 80, a 20 year resident of Bruce Twp. And formerly from Washington Twp., passed away at his  home on Friday, June 15, 2007.  Robert was born July 16, 1926 in Detroit, the son of William H. and Kathleen (Farnworth) Old.  He married Joann Keller on November 18, 1979 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Washington Twp.  Robert retired from Sam's Club in 2004.  He previously worked with the Harold Vick Excavating of Washington Twp., was a design checker for many years for Modern Engineering of Troy, Snyder Engineering in Detroit, and also helped design military equipment.  Robert enjoyed doing yard work, fixing any kind of mechanical equipment, especially cars.     Robert is survived by his wife Joann,  children JoAnn Peden of LA., Geri (Al) Peters of Arizona, Karen (Robert) DeBaun of Arkansas, Kathy Old of Delaware, Debi (Bill) Barlow of Chesterfield Twp., Robert S. Old of Three Rivers, MI., Nancy Ray of Bruce Twp., Steve (Diane) Ray of Washington Twp., and Rebecca Ray of Redford, MI.  Also survived by grandchildren Jennifer, April, Neil, Didi, J.W., Scott, Michael, Shawn, Lon, Stephen, Jennifer, Sandy, Steven, Nick.  Great Grandchildren include Christopher, Jessica, Holly, Jacob, Ashley, Kelsey, Kayla, Kory, Katy, Mickey, & Jacob along with one great great grandchild Juliana.       Memorial services will take place at a later date.  Arrangements by the Henry M.
