Robert Irvin Steinbrink, age 64, a 2 year resident of the Henry Ford Continuing Care of Roseville, MI., and previously from Allenton, MI., passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013. Bob was born October 20, 1948 in Mt Clemens, MI., the son of Irvin and Virginia (Rojeski) Steinbrink. Bob worked in construction his whole life. For many years he built commercial chicken coups in Alabama, did cement work in the Macomb County area, and could build anything that needed to be built. His hobbies include cutting wood, deer hunting, spear fishing, & restoring old John Deere tractors. Bob was a member of St Clement of Rome parrish. Bob is survived by his mother Virginia of Allenton, children: Jake and Kelly, & step-children: Sherry (Christopher) Madrey, Denise Willyard, Dwayne Davis & Randy Davis, along with siblings: Rodger (Mindy) Steinbrink of Clear Lake, MI., Thomas (Cathy) Steinbrink of Macomb Township, Barbara (Roger) Marshall of Washington, MI., Susan (Bubba Dan) Coenen of Columbus, MI., Cassandra (Ed) Gallardo of Capac, Patty (John) Fryer of Washington, MI., Bonnie Sasseen of Armada, & Ginger Steinbrink (David) of Armada, MI. Bob was preceded in death by his father Irvin, sister Shirley Steinbrink and step-son Scottie Davis. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 9:30 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Fr. Stephen Reckker of St Clement of Rome in Romeo officiating. Burial will follow in the West Berlin Cemetery in Allenton, MI. Visitation will be on Monday & Tuesday from 2-8 PM. Donations to the family would be appreciated.
