Robert Inman Phillion passed on to his Heavenly Father on November 9, 2022, after a year-long battle with cancer.
Born on April 22, 1962, to MaryLou and Bruce Phillion in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Robert is survived by his wife, Dina, sons Jeffrey (Elizabeth), Michael Phillion, Dustin Sullivan, and his step-children Arhemi Rosaura, Jorge Enrique, Ethan Javier, Loreto Rene, his twin brother Jack (Tracy) Phillion, sister Barbara Way, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, in addition to his older brother, James Phillion, and brother-in-law, Gary Way.
Robert served in the United States Army from 1983 until 1986, and upon being honorarily discharged, he began a successful career in the automotive industry which spanned over three decades.
Robert, known for his incredibly quick wit and infectious smile, found beauty in the simple parts of this life, most notably blue-skied beaches, warm breezes, and a cold shot of tequila.
His family has arranged for a private celebration of his life this Friday, November 11, though he remains on this earth through countless memories which will live forever in the hearts and minds of his loved ones.
