Roby E. Workman Jr

Roby E. Workman Jr., age 82, a longtime resident of Ray Township, Michigan since 1980, passed away December 6, 2024 at home in Bruce Township. Roby was born on August 27, 1942 the son of Roby E. Sr. and Letah (Cook) Workman. He was a graduate of Pineville High School, West Virginia. Upon graduating high school, he then entered into the Air Force where he served our country for 4 years overseas in Great Britain. Roby married Kathryn W. Fischer on July 22, 1978.
Roby worked for many years as a welder, and from 1980 to 2000 he was employed as a youth home facility worker. He loved hunting, fishing, woodworking, and being with his cherished grandkids.
Roby is survived by his loving wife Kathy of Bruce Township, daughter Wendy (Todd) Randall of Bruce Township, sisters Sue James of Kentucky, Anita Cook of West Virginia, and Marlene Daniels of West Virginia, Brother in law Ron Miller and Sister in law Diane Burgeson. Grandchildren include Alexander Randall and Abigail Randall. He was predeceased by his brothers, Ken and Joseph, and sisters Donna Miller and Shirley Jones.
A memorial visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
