Rogelio T. Camacho

Rogelio T. Camacho, age 69, a 7 year resident of the Romeo area and previously from the Waterford, MI., area, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Twp., MI.  Rogelio was born on April 5, 1939 in Ciudad Victoria, Mexico, the son of Crescercio and Bonifacia (Trevino) Camacho.  He married Gloria Greer in January of 1977 in Mt Clemens, MI.  Rogelio worked for General Motors as an assembler for 32 years at its plant in Lake Orion and retiring in 2005 from its Cadillac Plant in Hamtramck, MI.  His hobbies include fishing, watching boxing matches & old western movies, and playing pool.       Rogelio is survived by his wife Gloria of Romeo, children:  Rita Whitt and Daniel Camacho both of Waterford and Anthony of Romeo.  Grandchildren include Mary, Emily, & Kaley.  Siblings include Henry, Marcelino, Pedro (deceased), Crescensio Jr.(deceased), Celso, Jose, Cipriano, Santiago, Crescensio Jr., Pablo,  Benita, Aurelia, Leonor, Maria, Celsa, Agueda and Guadalupe.      Funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Fr. John (Fr. Doc) Ortman officiating.  Burial will follow in the Parkview Cemetery in Livonia.  Donations to St Jude's Children Hospital would be appreciated.  Visitation is on Tuesday from 2-9 with a 7 PM Rosary by the Knights of Columbus, Council #7018 of St Clement of Romeo Visitation: Visitation Times Tuesday 2-9 with 7 PM Rosary Malburg Funeral Home
