Rosalia M. Boyce

BOYCE Rosalia (nee Bartolone), Age 90 of Romeo entered eternal life on March 29, 2017. Beloved Wife of the late Alex for 53 years. Devoted Mother of Ann Marie, John (Susan) Boyce, and the late Theresa Dettloff. Proud Grandmother of Brandon, Justin (Leana), and Laura Parker, Jamie (Bevan) Lindsey, Joseph Boyce and Shannon Boyce. Dear Great Grandmother of Theresa and Mason. Loving sister of Paul (Fran) Bartolone and Patricia (Red) Minuaro. Preceded in death by siblings Carmen, Justin, Joe, Sam, August, John and Annabelle Bartolone. Also, survived by dear sisters-in-law and dozens of wonderful nieces and nephews. Rose loved to cook and so many of her wonderful creations will not be forgotten, but made again with happy memories. She also loved her family cottage in Lexington, the Detroit Tigers, red wine, finding and sending birthday cards (often irreverent) to her extended family members, and connecting with her Sicilian roots. Visitation will take place on Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, 11280 32 Mile Road, Romeo.In lieu flowers or gifts, the family requests that you please give roses to someone you love or that you bring a single rose to the funeral celebration of Rose’s life at St Clement Catholic Church, 343 South Main St., Romeo on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 11:00 am. The family would also appreciate any Masses offered for Rose’s soul or memorial contributions made to The Agape Center, 347 South Main St., Romeo, 48065 or Henry Ford Hospice, Office of Philanthropy, 1 Ford Place, 5A, Detroit, 48202-3450.
