Roscoe E. (Bobbie) Steward, age 72, a lifelong Romeo area resident, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Mt Clemens Regional Hospital. Bobbie was born August 5, 1936 in Romeo, the son of Charles and Sarah (Davis) Steward. Bobbie worked for the Ford Engine Plant for 33 years in the maintenance department, before retiring in 2004. His hobbies included bowling on many leagues over the years and watching cowboy movies. Bobbie is survived by his children, Calissa (Mike) Hamilton of Fort Gratiot, Colleen Mullins of Billings, Montana, and Ricky Mullins. Also survived by grandchildren Kendra Hajski, Scott & Michaela Hamilton, Ashley Mullins, Sarah Mangiaptane, Anthony VanRijn and Jonathan Pettitt. Siblings surviving include Johniebell (Marvin) Robinson of Ypsilanti, Dorothy Hannah and Charles (Jackie) Steward both of Romeo and Daniel Steward of Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his wife Joan L. in August of 2004, siblings: Frances, James, Ray, Richard, Lee, & Brenda Steward. A family hour will be held on Friday, November 28 at 10 AM followed by a 11 AM Funeral Service at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Pastor James Rogan officiating.
