Rose L. Knuppenburg

Rose L. Knuppenburg, age 85, a 38 year resident of East Tawas, Michigan, passed away on December 1, 2023 in Tawas City. Rose was born July 1, 1938 in Idaho. She married Butch Knuppenburg, and they were married for 43 years. Rose worked as a phlebotomist, then became a nurse. Rose liked a little bit of everything; she was a painter, artist, decorator, and also enjoyed collecting Indian artifacts. She loved horses, driving her corvette, gatherings, and going out into the country in the woods and nature.

Rose is survived by her husband, Butch, of East Tawas, children, Mark Kieling of Washington state, Steve Kieling of California, Kermit (Lucy) Knuppenburg, of Macomb Township, and Melony (Caringi) Knuppenburg of Almont, grandchildren, Max Kieling, Kermit Knuppenburg, Dane Knuppenburg, and Tyler (Katelyn) Trombley.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Noon at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, with visitation on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM.
