Roy R. Zilz

Roy Richard Zilz, age 70, a 31 year resident of Leonard, Michigan, passed away on Monday December 1, 2020 at Ascension Providence Hospital in Rochester Hills. Roy was born March 8, 1950 in Detroit, the son of Leroy and Marie (Dziekan) Zilz. He married Anne-Marie Wilson on May 18, 1974 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Melvindale, Michigan. After graduating from U of D with a Bachelors Degree in English/Literature. Roy worked at Michigan Bell (ATT) for many years, and then worked for FCA as a Systems Anaylist from 1981 until he retired in 2012. Roy loved cooking, traveling, target shooting and family time. Roy is survived by his loving wife Anne-Marie of Leonard, son Ben (Gail Rosenthal) of Grand Rapids, grandchild Keegan Leroy Zilz, and many dear friends Visitation will be on Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 2-8 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
