Sandra Ann Bell

Sandra Ann Bell, age 71, a lifelong resident of Romeo, Michigan, passed away on August 4, 2023, at Select Specialty Hospital- Macomb, in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Sandra was born on June 17, 1952 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, the daughter of Herman and Della (Womble) Bell. She graduated from Romeo Schools in 1970, then worked at Saint Joseph East Hospital in Mount Clemens, as a Ward Clerk. After that, she went back to Romeo Schools to work as a Monitor Hall Tech. She worked there for over 25 years, retiring in June 2015. It was more than just a job; Sandra was a beloved member of the Romeo School community. She was a confidant and a motherly figure to the students there. Her nieces and nephews were also treated like kids of her own.

Sandra is survived by her two sisters, Darlene (Jerome) Lee, and Kimberly Bell, both of Romeo, Aunt Sherrie Monroe, of Washington, Michigan, nieces and nephews, Tonya and Clyde Cushingberry II, Jeffrey and Joy Lee, Garrett and Aaliyah Bell, Willetha Ordaz and Leon Nelson, great-nephew Jordan Cushingberry, brother-in-law Clyde Cushingberry. She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Bell Jr., mother, Della Ruth (Womble) Bell, sisters Yvonne Nelson, Patricia Bell, Pamela Cushingberry, and nephew Louis Nelson.
