Sandra L. Stankiewicz

Sandra L. Stankiewicz, age 69 of Shelby/Romeo area passed away February 1, 2012 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. Sandra was born March 18, 1942 in Wynne, Arkansas., the daughter of James Ray and MaryLee (Hutchinson) Caplena. She married Thomas Stankiewicz on December 28, 1963 in Michigan. Sandra was with the Benedictine Order of Nuns in Pennsylvania for a while, before teaching for a few years. Her hobbies include all and any type of card games, computer games, crocheting, and all types of crafts. Sandra is survived by her husband Thomas of Shelby Township, mother of Lenn (Anne) Montrosse, Mi, Mary Grace (Ted) of Shelby Township, , Thom (Kim) & Bob (Chris) both of Romeo, Dann (Terri) of Oxford, Maine, and David (Jessica) of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Grandmother of 13. Sisters include Daisy Bailey (Coroplis, PA), Tina Tokar (Berwick, PA), and Bernavette Reynolds (San Leono, TX). Brothers include Wally Jasinski (Dawson, PA) and Joey Jasinski (West Newton, PA). Funeral 11 AM Saturday at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Visitation Friday from 5-8 PM.
