Sarah A. Mirkhani

Sarah A. Mirkhani, age 74, a 30 year plus resident of Washington Township, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 at the Novi Lakes Health Care center in Novi, Michigan. Sarah was born October 8, 1946 in Port Huron Michigan, the daughter of Walter & Elaine (Stevenson) Lentz. She married Kazem Mirkhani on August 24, 1968 in Port Huron, Michigan. After earning her Master’s Degree in Linguistics', she taught for a short time before she became a full time mother for her 3 children. She loved being around her children, grandchildren and her many relatives & friends over the years. Sarah is survived by her husband Kazem, children: Alexander, Martha (Nick) Black and Julia (Dan) Griffin. Also survived by grandchildren Lilly & Clara Black, Ivy & Layla Griffin, mother Elaine Olsen, and siblings: Mike & David Lentz, Marquerite (Maggie) Banka, Patty (Todd) & Linda Gonder. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, December 16 at 11 AM at Grace Lutheran Fellowship with Pastor Eric Majeski officiating. Burial will follow in the Bruce-Armada Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 2-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo. Donations to Dementia Research, Salvation Army, The Wounded Warriors or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Due to COVID-19 concerns and a desire to protect the people in attendance, the family requests all visitors observe social distancing and wear a mask.
