Sarah Ellen Uhazie

Sarah Ellen Uhazie, age 80, a resident of Bruce Twp., and formerly from Warren and Clinton Twp., passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at the Shelby Nursing Center in Shelby Twp., Michigan. Sarah was born April 1, 1930 in Springfield Twp., Fayette County, PA., the daughter of Robert and Evelyn (Beale) Crawford. She married James E. Uhazie on January 6, 1951. Sarah loved to care for her family and friends, enjoyed cooking & baking, and doing yardwork. Sarah is survived by her sons: Scott (Mary) of Clinton Twp., and Mark (Jacqueline) of Washington Twp. Also survived by siblings: David Crawford, , Lydia “Susie” (George) Riggen, Nancy Marks, and her brother-in-law George Swaney all of Pennsylvania. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband James on May 23, 2010 and her sister Margaret (Margie) Swaney. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, June 9 at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Rev. Mark Evans of St John Lutheran Church of Romeo officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Eden Cemetery in Macomb Township.
