Scott A. Waldorf, aka “Wally”, age 69, a 28-year resident of Washington, Michigan, passed away March 9, 2025 at Karmanos Cancer Center in Detroit, surrounded by his loving family. Scott was born December 31, 1955 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, to Nester and Geraldine (Jaster) Waldorf. Scott met his devoted wife Ann Marie Ceci in 1990, and they enjoyed 35 years together. As a proud union carpenter, Scott could fix anything. A strong work ethic and a devotion to family and God gave him the strength, skills, and values to support anyone he met. He was a loyal husband, father, and papa.

Scott lived with cancer for 15 years and with the medical interventions discovered by The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation was able to spend those years making memories with his loving family. He never let his sickness or pain stop him. He continued to live a beautiful life, always up for an adventure, big or small. He loved snowmobiling across frozen lakes, hunting with family, and getting ice cream with his grand-kids. He helicoptered out of the Grand Canyon, road tripped around North America, and taught his family how to camp around the country. He touched the lives of everyone who knew him with kindness, reliability, and selflessness. For the past 10 years he enjoyed his life cruising Lake St. Clair and Lake Huron in his boat, Wally’s World, fishing with Ann Marie by his side.

Scott is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Marie Ceci of Washington, Michigan; father, Nester (Carol) Waldorf of Caro; mother, Geraldine Davis of Utica; adored children, Amber (Greg Lees) Miller of Almont and Ashley (Alex Cook) Waldorf, of Lake Placid, New York; siblings, Kathy (Dennis) McDaniel, Leonard Waldorf, Lynn (Tony) Gagny, and Kevin (Charlene) Waldorf; grandchildren, Noah Miller, Nathan Miller, Nicolas Miller, River Cook-Waldorf, Justin Lees, and Cody Lees; and his cherished cats, Daisy and Roxy. He is preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Waldorf.

Viewing will take place on Sunday, March 16th from 2:00-8:00 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo. Rosary will be at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 17th at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Utica, Michigan.
