Sharon A. Czajka

Sharon A. Czajka, age 57, a lifelong Romeo area resident, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at her home. Sharon was born June 6, 1953 in Mt. Clemens, the daughter of Stephen and Evelyn (Rumball) Lomakoski. She married Theodore J. Czajka II., in 1982. Sharon was a 1971 graduate of Romeo High School and in 1980, along with her family, bought the Cedar Inn in Romeo and changed the name to the “Thee Office Pub & Cookery.” Sharon was very active in the Romeo area, being in the Romeo Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce, and with the Romeo Merchants. Her hobbies include golfing, gardening, landscaping her home, and yoga. Along with her family, they were lifelong members of St Clement Catholic Church. Sharon is survived by her husband Ted, children: Nicole (Bill) Sengstock, Ted III., and Franklin all of Romeo. Sharon’s parents, Stephen & Evelyn Lomakoski of Romeo along with siblings: Diana (Bryan) Nelson of Riley Center, Linda Lomakoski of Marine City, Stephanie Lomakoski of Romeo, and Stephen Lomakoski II of Milford all survive. Funeral services will take place on Thursday at 10 AM at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo with Fr. John (Fr. Doc) Ortman officiating. Burial will follow in the Romeo Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 5-9 and on Wednesday from 2-9 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo. Donations to the OPC (Older People Commision) or Season’s Hospice would be appreciated.
