Sharon Lee McMahon, age 83, a 4 year resident of Romeo and a 49 year resident of Warren, Michigan, passed away on November 16, 2020 at Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital. Sharon was born October 26, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Leo and Irene Kropp. She graduated from South Lake High School in St. Clair Shores. She married Gerald Charles McMahon in 1963. After working for years, Sharon then retired from Bortz Healthcare in the laundry department. Sharon loved playing cards with family and friends especially Euchre and Pinochle with all the cousins on a monthly basis (Margaret, Bob, Nancy, Joe, Mike, Rita, Janet, Ron, Mary, and Jerry). She was an avid reader. She also donated her time to the Salvation Army during Christmas and she also belonged to Kiwanis. But she especially loved spending time with friends and family and she loved her pets throughout the years. She was Baptist until she converted to Catholicism to marry her husband but then returned to Baptist Faith after his passing. A special thank you to her niece, Linda Plotkowski and nephew, Ray Campbell for the many lunches and special visits during her stay at Wellbridge of Romeo. Sharon is survived by daughter Sherry Ann (Timothy) Trudell, son Charles Michael (Jennifer) McMahon, grandchildren Abigail McMahon, Olivia McMahon, Owen Trudell, sister Michele Glenn of Alabama, and sister-in-law Claudia Kropp. Sharon was predeceased by her husband Gerald Charles McMahon, sister Audrey Roselli, brother Gary Kropp, Mother Irene (Durecki), Faria, and Father Leo Kropp. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Michigan Humane Society, https://www.michiganhumane.org
