Sharon M. Knust

Sharon M. Knust, age 79, a resident of Dryden since 1982 and previously from Romeo and winters in Mission, TX., passed away in Texas on Monday, May 3, 2021. Sharon was born March 9, 1942 in Davis, MI., the daughter of Roy & Dorothy (Eisenhardt) Bettcher. She graduated from Romeo High School in 1960. For many years, Sharon was a seamstress and cake/decorating specialist at her home in Romeo and upon moving to Dryden, Sharon bought the flower shop in Almont, renamed it the “Cinnamon Stick” and operated it for over 23 years. Sharon is survived by her husband Don, children: Larry (Sharon) Knust of Richmond & Sheryl (Roger) Smith of Capac. Grandchildren include Lee Patterson, Nicholas (Sarah) Knust, Allen (Carly) Patterson, Steven (Samantha Derby) Patterson, Crystal (Daniel) Langholff, Breana Knust, Rebecca (Chase Orzel) Johnson and Ryan Johnson. Also survived by 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will take place at a later date. Local arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
