Sharon "Sherry" Ann Cischke

Sharon “Sherry” Ann Cischke, age 74, passed away on June 21, 2023 at Ascension Providence Rochester with her husband by her side. Sherry was born on May 28, 1949, daughter of Frank and Barbara (Merritt) Knorp. Her backyard was a little piece of heaven to her, she loved to care for her garden and flowers. Sherry had a wonderful friend “Angelina” that would come and visit and work in the yard with her. She was a strong Christian woman, found the positive in everything in life. Sherry made friends wherever she went, and was always a very happy go lucky lady. Her grandchildren made her smile daily.

Sherry is survived by her husband Dennis Cischke, sons, James Jason Risner, Stephen Risner Jr. her brothers, Duncan S. Knorp, Marvin J.Knorp. Stepdaughter, Lori Murphy, and Stepson David Cischke. Grandchildren, Larry J.Madden, Caitlin Metzger, Amy J. Cischke, Zackary Murphy, Tyler Murphy, and Keaira Murphy.

Predeceased by her parents - Frank and Barbara Knorp, brother - Frank Knorp Jr. and sister Doreen Balentine.

Visitation will be Monday, June 26, 2023 from 3-8pm with a service at 7, at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, MI.
