Sheryl Lynn Degroff Burg

Sheryl Lynn DeGroff Burg, age 67, a 20 year resident of Memphis, Michigan, passed away February 14, 2023 at McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens.

Sheryl was born October 15, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Roger M. DeGroff and Johanna M. (Freeman) DeGroff. Sheryl was very family oriented and was a foster mom to numerous children. She loved to gamble, and was an avid slot player. She enjoyed hosting parties, making ceramics and crafts, and playing on her phone.

Sheryl is survived by her children, Brian (Wendy) Good of New Baltimore, Julie (Brian) Myer of Richmond, Brooklyn DeGroff of Memphis, Serina DeGroff of Memphis, Natalie DeGroff of Memphis, brother David (Diana) DeGroff of Richmond, and grandchildren Corey Aleck, Carter Aleck, Faith Good, Jordan Good, Corey Good, and Alexis Good. Sheryl was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Burg in 2006, father Roger M. DeGroff in 1994, mother Johanna DeGroff in 2013, and brother Keith DeGroff .

Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 22, 2023 from 2PM-8PM with a 7PM service at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. There will be a private family burial.
