Shirley E. Winn, age 94 of Sterling Heights, Michigan the previously has lived in Detroit/Warren/Utica, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020 at the Orchard Grove Health Campus in Romeo. Shirley was born August 11, 1925 in Columbus Township, the daughter of Edward and Eleanor (Kuch) Fraley. She married Frederick E. (Al) Winn in February of 1949 and he preceded her in death in October of 1994. Shirley had many jobs over the years, last working at the McDonald’s Restaurant on Van Dyke in Shelby Township and previously worked at the “Bacon Factory” in Mt Clemens, and Yankee Department Store in Sterling Heights. Along with her family, they were longtime members of St Raymond’s Catholic Church and at St Matthias Catholic Church. She loved to garden, play bingo, and enjoyed her quilting. Shirley is survived by her children: Sharon (Ron) Pewinski, Elwood (Sherry) Winn, Martin (Meg) Winn, Richard (Rommel) Winn, Kenneth (Debbie) Winn and Sandra Kleiner. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren along with sisters Carol (Bill) Ellery & Eleanor Sweeney. She was preceded in death by siblings: Ray Fraley, Evelyn Vermeesch, Jack Fraley, Henry Fraley, Clarence Fraley, Marcella Eagen, Rose Werner, Donna Latowski & Barbara DeFrank. Funeral services will be private. Arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Donations to a Hospice of your choice would be appreciated.
