Shirley J. Mcpherson

Shirley J. McPherson, age 74, a 21 year resident of Romeo and formerly from Troy,  passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Troy Beaumont Hospital. Shirley was born March 21, 1933 in Detroit, the daughter of Albert and Ruth E. (Dunn) Garner.  She married James McPherson on July 5, 1952 at St Joseph Episcopal Church in Detroit and he preceded her in death in 1990.  Shirley retired from Quality Chaser in Romeo on April 1, 1995 after many years of employment.  Her hobbies include gardening and enjoying all type of songbirds.       Shirley is survived by her children:  Keith (Ursula) McPherson of Leonard, Linda McPherson of Bruce Twp., and Laura (Tim) Bercel of Washington Twp.  Grandchildren include Andrea, Pamela, & Brian McPherson and Tim, James, & Austin Bercel.   Also survived by her brother William Garner of Sandusky, MI., and her sister Ann (Jerry) Treppa of Arlington Heights, ILL.  She was preceded in death by her brother Edgar Garner.      Funeral services will take place on Saturday at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Rev. Steve Miramonti of the Assembly of God in Springfield, MO.  Officiating.  Burial will follow in the Romeo Cemetery.   Visitation will take place on Thursday from 7-9 and on Friday from 3-9.  Donations to the American Heart would be appreciated Visitation: Visitation Times Thursday 7-9 - Fri 3-9 Malburg Funeral Home
