Stephen Monroe Chapman
It is with broken hearts, we mourn the sudden death of Stephen Monroe Chapman. On June 27, 2023, Steve left our fallen world to meet his Savior in His heavenly home.
If you knew Steve, you knew his lifelong passions. He was loyal to his faith, family, friends, school sports, archery, hunting, fishing and most recent his job at TEK Transportation. Steve was genuine, honest, fair, thoughtful, and good natured. These qualities define the man that touched so many lives.
He has left behind Janice, his loving wife of 47 years, along with his three loving daughters. Katie May (Chris), Sarah Sosnowski (Ed), and Frances Tomasino (Dominic). Steve is also survived by ten adoring grandchildren, Noah, Joshua, Anne, Jack, Izabell, Luke, Caleb, Stella, Penelope and Lydia.
Steve also leaves behind two sisters, Vera Paulk (Jerry) and Allison McBride. Also, mourning the loss of their brother-in-law are Larry and Celeste Bonscour and Jim and Peggy Jones.
Many nieces and nephews are missing their “Uncle Steve”.
Steve was predeceased by his parents, John and Mescal Chapman.
Visitation and his service will both be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 8600 27 Mile Road, Washington, MI 48094. Visitation on Thursday July 6, 2023 from 9am-11am. Service immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Stephen’s name to Warren Lincoln Wrestling Club, 22900 Federal Avenue, Warren, Michigan 48089.
