Steven "Steve" M. Lafalce

Steven “Steve” LaFalce, age 55 of Bruce Township passed away peacefully at his home on July 19, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Steve graduated from Sterling Heights High School in 1977 and then continued his education in HVAC. At the age of 20, he met his lovely wife Deb in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. They were then married in June of 1984 at Debra’s family cottage on a Michigan lake and had two children. Steve worked at Mahle/Behr for 8 years and at General Motors for over 20 years. His children were a large part of his life. Steve was able to pass on his love of outdoors to his children. His hobbies included kayaking, golfing, hunting, and traveling which he enjoyed sharing with his friends and family. He remained strong with his battle against esophageal cancer. Steve was a kind hearted man who knew that the real key to success in life was the love of his family and friends. Steve is survived by his wife Debra of Bruce Twp., children Joshua (Kelli) of Armada and Christy (Ben) of Bruce Twp. Father Guy of Sterling Heights. Siblings Janet Krul, Karen (Kevin) Johnson, and Michael (Deborah). Remembered by many cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends. Predeceased by his mother Theresa Alice. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday July 23, 2014 at 10 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home with Fr. Jerry Kessel officiating.
