Sylvia Ann Severance

Sylvia Ann Severance, age 87, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2022 due to asudden stroke. She was born on July 2, 1934 in Hillsdale, Michigan and after attending nursing school, was married to Richard Lewis Severance for 48 years, until his passing on March 20, 2003. She lived a full life as a homemaker and worker in the medical care field. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning, baking, singing, writing poetry, and art. She had a wonderful sense of humor and quick wit. Most of all, Sylvia loved her family and instilled strong values in her children and grandchildren that have served them well. Sylvia was the devoted and beloved mother of 6 children: Corinne, Richard, Kevin, Steven, Kirsten, and Valerie. She was also the proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren: Richard (Rick), Ross, Madison, Jacob, Kevin II, Sarah, Lauren, Savannah, Colton, and Hannah. Sylvia was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard (Dick) Lister and is survived by her dear sister, Janet Dominquez. She will be dearly missed and lives forever in our hearts .
