Sylvia D. Rozek

Sylvia D. Rozek, age 80, a lifelong Romeo area resident, passed away on Sunday, Novemeber 15, 2020. Sylvia was born February 26, 1940 in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of Roy and Geraldine (Frederickson) Brady. She married Gordon Rozek on December 28, 1957 in Oxford, Michigan. Sylvia worked for over 15 years at the K-Mart in Washington Township. She loved being a homemaker, was an avid reader, and playing all type of puzzles, especially word search and Sudoku. Survived by her husband Gordon, children: Crystal Seigfried of Attica, Paul of Romeo, Karen Adams of Port Huron, & Julie and Joe Spear of Attica. Also survived by her grandchildren Tammie Serwatowski, Danyell Doyle, Michael Prohaszka and Jessica (Steven Jr.) Fritz and one great-grandchild, Ireland. Also survived by her brother LeRoy Brady and was preceded in death by her son Kurt and by her grandson Scott Serwatowski. Visitation will take place on Wednesday November 18, 2020 from 2-8 PM. Burial will take place on Thursday at White Chapel Cemetery at 11 AM. Due to the new regulations of Covid-19, masks are required, social distancing is mandatory, and only 10 people are allowed in room at any time, per the State of Michigan.
