Thelma M. Aul

Thelma M. Aul, age 85, a lifelong resident of Ray Township, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012 at her home. Thelma was born November 11, 1926 in Detroit, the daughter of Henry and Thelma (Brown) Osborne. She married Robert Aul on March 6, 1948 in Disco, MI., and he preceded her in death in 1979. Thelma was a lifelong member of the Washington United Methodist Church. Thelma is survived by her children, Robert (Donna) Aul II of Ray, Linda (James) Duckert of Attica, and Cynthia (Jeffrey) Horn also of Ray. Thelma is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild along with siblings: Edward (Betty) Osborne of California, Barry (Jane) Osborne of Texas, Marlene (Richard) Armstrong of Shelby Twp., and brother-in-law Frank Aul of Ray. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the Washington United Methodist Church with Pastor Bill Schuman officiating. Burial will follow in the Prestonville Cemetery in Shelby Township. Visitation will take place at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan from 2-9 PM on Wednesday.
