Therese M. Paruskiewicz

Therese M. Paruskiewicz, age 88, a 5 year resident of Romeo and previously of Westland passed away on Monday April 7, 2014 at her home. Therese was born on February 1, 1926 in Altoona, PA. The daughter of Ralph and Edna (Doyle) McKenzie. She loved gardening, reading, and shopping. She loved to volunteer at church. Therese is survived by her children Patricia (Felix) of Lenox, Ron (Dianna) Paruszkiewicz of Swartz Creek, Michael (Susan) Paruszkiewicz of Belleville, Ralph Paruszkiewicz of Bruce Twp., Thomas (Theresa) Paruszkiewicz of Harrison Twp., Mary Paruszkiewicz of Cambridge, WI., and Jeanne (Bill) Gumbleton of Washington Twp.. Brothers Jim and Ralph McKenzie. Sisters Caroline Eldridge and Eva Buelk. Grandchildren include Kyle, Veronica, Kirsten, Joseph, Luke, and McKenzie. One great grandchild Julian. She was predeceased by her husband Ervin in 1990, Sister Regina in 2008, and grandson Joshua in 2010. Funeral services will take place on Thursday April 10, 2014 at 10 AM at St. John & Paul Parish (7777 28 Mile Rd. Washington Twp. MI 48094) with Father David Buersmeyer officating. Visitation will be on Wednesday April 9, 2014 from 2-8 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. A scripture service will take place at 7 PM on Wednesday April 9, 2014 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Burial will be Mt. Olivet Cemetery Detroit, Michigan. Donations to Capuchin Soup Kitchen would be appreciated (4390 Conner St. Detroit MI 48215).
