Thomas Albert Steinbrink, age 74, passed away at Henry Ford Hospital on September 9, 2024. Tom had a short battle with aggressive lung and bladder cancer. Tom was born July 24, 1950 in Mt Clemens, the son of Irvin & Virginia (Rojeski) Steinbrink.
Tom was a veteran and served in the Army for 3 years, with an honorable discharge. Tom worked for many years in Maintenance and retired from ABM at the Ford Engine Plant. After retiring he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Tom loved to watch western movies when he wasn't spending time outside in his man cave.
Tom is survived by his wife Cathy of over 30 years. Together they share Clayton & Angel Steinbrink (Layla, Shalynn & Gracie). Amber Steinbrink & Charlie Harris (Payton, Hunter, Jason, Kayla, Justin, Karlie, Joshua). Paul Thompson (Lauren & Paul Joseph) Taylor & Colton Jones (Ellie & Noah) Wyatt Nichols & Elisha (Alivia, Owen, Westin) Brandy & Jacques Marais (Jacob & Alexa), Ashley & Jimmy Schoof (Jordyn & Breyton Schimke & Paige & Ben Petrella) Jessica & Vandle Newberry (Madison, Olivia, Charlie & Albert) & 11 great grandchildren.
Tom is also survived by siblings Ginger (Dave Gondert) Steinbrink, Barbara (Roger) Marshall, Patty (John) Fryer, Rodger (Mendy) Steinbrink, Susan (Bubba) Coenen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents and siblings Sandy, Bob, Bonnie & Shirley & nephew Josh Parrott, stepdaughter Shannon & her husband Pat Nichols
Tom was a good man who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 5-8pm with a memory share beginning at 7pm, at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, MI.
