Thomas Elwood Tallent

Thomas Tallent, age 70, resident of Romeo for 27 years, passed away on January 24, 2023 at his home with family surrounding him. Tom was born on December 29, 1952, son of John and June Tallent. Tom was a wood worker, loved building and remodeling, also reading. Music was important to Tom, he played bass guitar for 8+ years at “Real Life Church” in Romeo. Tom and his loving wife Sandra, rode his Harley and took several trips, a favorite was traveling the coast of MI to see many lighthouses. Most of all, Tom couldn’t get enough of his grandchildren. He loved them more than life!

Tom is survived by his wife Sandra, brothers: Jack (Elizabeth) Tallent of Bloomfield, Don (Linda) Tallent of Washington state. Sisters: Linda (Bob) Perales of Sterling Heights, Deb Tallent of Sterling Heights, and Donna Tallent of Sterling Heights. Step sons: Chris (Kristina) Aleck of Ray Twp., and Phil (Katrina) Aleck of Armada. Grandchildren: Corey, Carter, Cameron, Kennedy, Karsynn, and Leo.

Predeceased by his parents John and June, and his sister, Sandra Wilson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 4-8pm at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, MI.
