Thomas O. Muller

Thomas O. Muller, age 68, a 34 year resident of Washington Township and formerly from Mt Clemens, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Troy Beaumont Hospital. Tom was born April 17, 1942 in Blue Island, ILL., the son of Clarence and Carolyn (O’Brien) Muller. Tom graduated from Western Michigan with his Bachelor of Arts Degree and then from Wayne State with his Master’s Degree. He then worked 36 years as a counselor in the Mt Clemens School District until 2002. Upon retirement he continued to educate, being a substitute teacher in the Romeo School district. He also was a reserve deputy for the Macomb County Sheriff Department. He married Geraldine (Kotch) on August 24, 1963 and she preceded him in death on February 15, 1995. Tom then married the former Jacqueline Jennings on September 24, 1999 at St Clement Catholic Church where they were members since moving to the Romeo area. Tom was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus, Council # 7018 of St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo. In his spare time, Tom found time to golf on his golf league at the Romeo Golf Course and was also a bowler at the Summit Bowling facility. Tom is survived by his wife Jacqueline of Washington Township. Children: Timothy (Alicia) Muller of Shelby Twp., Michelle (Brian) Patrzalek of Leonard, Julie (Tom) Stimpson of Rochester Hills, Carol (Lon) Kruithoff of Grand Haven, Scott Wise of Long Island, NY., Michael (Monica) Wise of Vera Beach, FL., & Jamie (James) Loisel of Waterford, MI. Grandchildren include Madison Muller, Kaitlin & Adam Patrzalek, Evan & Shelby Stimpson, Olivia, Dale, & Wade Kruithoff, Alaina, Cameron, Cody, Mariah, Michaela, & Kristi Wise, Blake, and Ethan Loisel.. Funeral services will take place on Monday at 12:30 PM at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo with Fr. John (Fr. Doc) Ortman officiating. Burial will be at the Romeo Cemetery. Visitation on Sunday from 2-8 with a 7 PM rosary by the Knights of Columbus, Council # 7018. In lieu of flowers donations to the Romeo High School Scholarship fund would be appreciated.
