Thomas Philip Christofus

October 2, 1964 — November 5, 2022

Thomas “Tom” Christofus, age 58, was born on October 2, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan. Growing up Tom was the youngest of 7 siblings. He loved spending time up north, golfing, snowmobiling, Dallas Cowboys football, helping others, time with family, friends, and always finding something to fix no matter where he went. However, there were few things that brought him more joy than being a Papa and spending time with his grandchildren.

A loyal employee to National Coney Island for over 20 years, the amount of lives Tom touched is impossible to count. He was best known as the man who could fix anything and would go out of his way to help everyone. He had an uncanny ability to know what you needed before you even realized it. He was kind, compassionate, funny, witty, and made everyone feel like a friend. Tom will be missed by so many. He was truly one of a kind and anyone who had the opportunity to know him, is better for it.

Tom is survived by his wife Lori; son Thomas Messina; daughter Christina Taylor; son Michael Golz; daughter Jessica (Timothy) Clark; daughter Alesha (Thomas) Martiss; son Michael (Bonnie) Holmes-Phair; and son Robert Phair. His grandchildren; Chelsey, Cameron, David, Amber, Elizabeth, Owen, Benjamin, and Jaxson. His siblings Ginger (Mike) Roehr, Robert Christofus, Jeff(Dori) Christofus, Sharon (Mike) Kierpaul,Cheryl (Steve) Christofus, and Cindy Christofus. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins that loved him.

Tom was preceded in death by his Father and Mother; George and Francis Christofus, his brother; George Christofus, and his nephews Richard and Christopher.
