Thomas S. Raymond

Thomas S. Raymond, age 71, a lifelong Romeo area resident, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the home of his mother. Tom was born March 20, 1948 in Mt Clemens, Michigan, the son of Thomas S. and Theodora (Miller) Raymond. After graduating from Romeo High School, Tom attended Defiant College, then transferred to Wayne State where he earned his Bachelor Degree in English. After working for a short time at Voltron Corp., Tom joined his parents insurance agency, Thomas S. Raymond Insurance Agency where he still continued to work. Along with his family, they were long time members of the First Congregational Church in Romeo. His hobbies include reading, collecting various things such as books & records, and playing his guitar. Tom is survived by his mother Theodora of Romeo and brother Richard also of Romeo. He was preceded in death by father Thomas and brother Curtis. Funeral services will take place on Monday, July 1, 2019 from 1-3 PM with a 3 PM service at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Burial will take place on Tuesday at 10 AM at the Romeo Cemetery.
