Tina Marie Pollock (née Willette)
November 18, 1962 – March 5, 2025
Tina Marie Pollock, 62, lifelong resident of Romeo, Michigan, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose warmth, creativity, and kindness left a lasting mark on everyone she met.
Tina grew up in Romeo and married her high school sweetheart, Ben Pollock, standing by his side as he served in the U.S. Navy. Together, they built a life filled with love, raising their two daughters, Autumn (Matt) Frederick and Olivia Pollock, and making countless cherished memories.
A talented and passionate artist, Tina's creativity knew no bounds. She earned her degree in graphic design, which led her to explore interior design, mural painting, and all forms of artistic expression throughout her life. She had a deep love for angels and often spoke of how they send signs through nature’s beauty, appearing as dragonflies dancing in the sunlight or sunflowers standing tall in the breeze.
Beyond her artistic talents, Tina found joy in life’s simple, peaceful moments. She and Ben often watched and photographed sunsets on Cusick Lake before dancing together on their boat, lingering long into the night. She was known for her radiant smile that could light up a room, her loving heart and her infectious laugh, which made everyone feel welcome, cherished, and truly seen.
Tina is survived by her loving husband, Ben; her daughters, Autumn (Matt) Frederick and Olivia; her parents, Gerald and Angie Willette; her brother, Jerry (Krista) Willette, and their children, Andrew and Amanda. She also leaves behind her mother-in-law, Betty Pollock; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Elizabeth (Mike) Hackerd, Theresa (Greg) Strobel, Edward Pollock, Louise Pollock, Vince (Tracey) Pollock, and Mike (Crystal) Pollock, along with many nieces and nephews; and numerous dear friends and extended family members who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her beloved father-in-law, Edward Pollock, and her precious sister-in-law, Gerri Ann Pollock.
Tina’s legacy of love, creativity, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She believed in finding beauty in the little things and living with a heart full of gratitude—just as she once said, "Write your worries in the sand and carve your blessings in stone."
