Tracy (Bud) L. Hubbell, age 72, a Romeo resident since 1981 and formerly from West Branch, MI., passed away at his home on Monday, August 18, 2008. Bud was born February 24, 1936 in Jackson, MI., the son of Alfred L. and Beatrice (Vasser) Hubbell. He married the former Carol Munn on September 12, 1959 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Roseville, MI. Bud was a retired union carpenter from Detroit where he worked for 37 years before retiring in 1994. He was also a self employed carpenter working as TLH Homes for 10 years. His hobbies included doing odd carpentry jobs, scuba diving, traveling, and being an expert shuffle board player. Along with his wife they spent 10 years during the winter in Zephyrhills, Florida. Bud served his country during the Korean Conflict in the Marines. Bud is survived by his wife Carol of Romeo, children: Paul of Otter Lake, Tracey (Dale) Zang of Romeo, Amy (David) Krape of Grand Blanc, and Kristi (Terry) Smiles of Lake Orion. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Siblings include Candice Bischoff of Warren, Patrica Pascoe of Roseville, James Hubbell of Fort Myers, Florida and brother in law George Munn. Funeral services will take place at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo on Thursday at 10 AM with Fr. John (Fr. Doc) Ortman officiating.
