Travis Lee Schuler

Travis Lee Schuler passed away on Sept. 17, 2021 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Mi. Travis was born on November 20, 1979 in Sturgis, Mi., the son of Dan and Mary (Rigby) Ball. He married his loving wife Rachel (Howell) in Shelby Twp on November 20, 2010. Travis joined the United States Marine Corps for 6yrs, and was in two combat tours in Iraq, and one in Afghanistan. While in the Marines, Travis earned two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star with Valor. Also, Travis earned his masters degree in human resources in 2008. He retired at an early age from the Department of Defense in 2018. Travis loved his pets, playing “Words with Friends” on his phone, travel, and loved visiting with friends. He enjoyed his Sunday mornings at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Flushing, Mi. Travis is survived by his wife Rachel , father Dan, step father Kenneth Ball and sister Tara Ball. Preceded in death by his mother Mary (Rigby). Arrangements made at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be set at a later date.
