Vera L. Osgood

Vera L. Osgood, age 98, resident of Washington Twp for 45yrs., passed away in Clinton Twp. on April 4, 2022. Vera was born on September 13, 1923 in Detroit, Mi., daughter of Floyd and Meta (Holtz). Vera married her love Gordon, September 19, 1942. Vera worked for Kmart for years, where she retired in 2006. She took pride in doing her yard work and cleaning her home. Vera was also a former member of First Baptist Church of Washington, and a volunteer for the Samaritan House. Vera is survived by her daughter Penny (Gary) Tobianski, and grandchildren, Jason (Emily) Witt of Rochester Hills, and Justin and (Jennifer) Witt of Macomb Twp., also great grandson Miles Witt, who always put a smile on her face. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon in 1993, son Gordon Jr. in 2009, sister Lillian Gudding in 2020, and brother Floyd Zanley in 2020. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10am at Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, Mi. Visitation will be Thursday April 7, 2022 from 2-8 pm.
