Vincent Paul Capizzo

Vincent Paul Capizzo Sr., age 83, a resident of Macomb, passed away on Thursday May 14, 2020 at McLaren Macomb. Vincent was born on October 15, 1936 in Detroit, the son of Vincent and Rose Mary Capizzo. Vincent served his country for four years as a Marine. After being discharged, he worked for Champion Spark Plug, RCA Electronics as a TV Repair Man, and also owned and operated Cleartone Communications. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and volunteering as a animal foster, nursing ill/injured homeless dogs back to health. Vincent is survived by his children Vincent (Marilyn) Capizzo of Fraser, Robert (Carol) Capizzo of Detroit, Rose (Glenn) Brymer of Armada, Joseph (Carma) Capizzo of Attica, David (Donna) Capizzo of North Carolina, Gerald (Pam) Capizzo of Macomb, John (Nikki) Capizzo of Macomb, and Mary Capizzo of Macomb; Mary Ann (Hank) Lucas of Lapeer, Siblings Frank Capizzo and Mary Ann Capizzo of Minnesota, as well as 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Vincent was predeceased by his wife Mary Joyce Capizzo, nee: Obrien (2007), daughter Sheryl Burrow in 2003, and his son James Capizzo in 2016 Viewing services will be private. Public Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township Michigan at Noon on May 20, 2020 for those who would like to attend.
