Virginia M. Steinbrink

Virginia M. Steinbrink, age 94, a 40 year resident of Allenton and formerly from Ray Township passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018 at McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mt Clemens, MI. Virginia was born June 12, 1924 in Detroit, the daughter of Anthony & Sophia (Talarek) Rojeski. She married Irvin Steinbrink on March 31, 1943 and he preceded her in death in September of 1998. Virginia worked at many and various jobs over her life. Her last job was sorting cloths and helping out with distributing food for the needy at St Clement which is now the AGAPE Center. She previously worked in the custodial department at the Ford’s Tractor Plant in Romeo, worked at the pickle factories in Memphis , MI. and the Safie’s Pickel Factory. She also worked at the Holtzapple Hachery in Ray Township and was well known at the Armada Flea Market where she sold vegetables and garage sales items. She continued for many years having garage sales at her Allenton home and loved to play bingo with her many family & friends. Virginia is survived by her children: Barb (Roger) Marshall of Washington Twp., Patty (John) Fryer also of Washington Twp., Tom (Cathy) Steinbrink of Macomb, MI., Rodger (Mendy) Steinbrink of W. Branch, MI., Bonnie Sasseen of Armada, Ginger (David) Steinbrink of Armada, Susan (Bubba Dan) Coenen of Columbus, MI. Grandchildren include Marcus, Chad, Scott, Tim, Jennifer, Joe, Jake, Jonathan, Adam, Nicholas, Amber, Clayton, Christopher, Chantell, Judith and Kelly. Great grandchildren include Randall, Payton, Hunter, Noah, Nathan, Preston, Nick, Logan, Joshlyn, Nolyn, Vincent, Evalyn, Kara, Cameron, Taylor, Ayzia, Autumn, Lillian, Owen, Layla, Shalyn & Gracie. Virginia has 2 great great grandchildren Gracyn & Liam along with many nieces & nephews. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Irvin, children: Bob, Cassandra, Shirley and one grandson Joshua Parrott, along with siblings: Steve Rojeski, Helen Duprey, Benny Rojeski, Dolores Kielbasa, & Cecilia Dubay. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, July 25 at 10 AM at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo with burial to follow at West Berlin Cemetery in Allenton. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 and on Tuesday from 2-8 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Donations to the family would be appreciated.
