Vonda M. Weaver

Vonda M. Weaver, age 77 a lifelong Romeo resident, passed away on Friday January 24, 2014 at her home. Vonda was born on August 22, 1936 the daughter of Howard and Helen (Phillips) Thorman. She married Dean Weaver on April 26, 1958 at St. John Lutheran Church Romeo, Michigan. Vonda was a cook for Romeo Community schools for 20 plus years. She loved to knit, shop, and have lunch with her friends. Also, she loved her grandkids and her family they were everything to her. Vonda is survived by her husband of 55 years Dean of Washington Twp. Children Denise (Terry) Edwards of West Branch, Cheryl (Don) Crites of Washington Twp., and Mike (Karen) of Washington Twp. Grandchildren Devoney (Jeremy) Crockett, Matthew (Adrian) Edwards, Alison Crites, Nathan Crites, Holly Weaver, and Taylor Weaver. Funeral services will take place on Monday January 27, 2014 at 10 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Evans officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday January 26, 2014 from 2-8 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Romeo Cemetery.
