Wanda J. Reid

Wanda Jane (Utt) Reid, longtime Romeo/Washington Township resident passed away on Saturday April 13, 2019 in Cornelius, North Carolina. Wanda was born in 1935 in Detroit, Michigan. Both of her parents were born and raised in West Virginia. She enjoyed the summers she spent there as a child and really embraced the heritage of her parents. She attended Lake Shore Schools, graduating in 1953. Wanda lived in Romeo most of her adult life where she and Bob raised their children. They owned the Harvest Table Restaurant in Romeo, Michigan for 8 years meeting many wonderful people who became lifelong friends. Wanda and Bob had 59 wonderful years of marriage and enjoyed spending time with their family and friends. Wanda (Utt) was predeceased by her husband Robert in November 2018. She is survived by her children Lora (Tim) Davidson of Cornelius, North Carolina, Mike (Linda) Reid of Detroit, Bob (Nancy) Reid of Florida; grandchildren Michael, Kendall, Nolan (Monica), and Hidi (Perry) Stephens; Great grandchildren Reid (Christina) Eva, Morgan, Kasey and Myla. Funeral services will take place on Thursday April 18 at 11 AM at the Stoney Creek Community Church. Visitation will be on Thursday from 9:30 AM—11 AM when services will start.
